AFRICAN DRIFT SERIES – LIABILITY WAIVER & DISCLAIMER

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Participation in motorsport activities, including drifting, time trials, exhibitions, testing, and any related activities organized by African Drift Series (ADS), involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, permanent disability, property damage, fire, collision, and death.

By entering, attending, participating in, or observing any African Drift Series event, the participant acknowledges and voluntarily assumes all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

RELEASE & WAIVER

In consideration of being permitted to participate in African Drift Series activities, the participant, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby:

  • Fully and forever releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue:

    • African Drift Series (ADS)

    • Event organizers and promoters

    • Track owners and venue operators

    • Sponsors and partners

    • Officials, marshals, volunteers, staff, and contractors

from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to injury, death, or property damage, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

VEHICLE & EQUIPMENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • All vehicles are entered at the sole risk of the participant.

  • African Drift Series assumes no responsibility for:

    • Vehicle damage

    • Mechanical failure

    • Fire damage

    • Theft or vandalism

    • Loss of personal property

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their vehicles are mechanically sound and safe.

MEDICAL & EMERGENCY CARE

  • Participants acknowledge that motorsport injuries can be severe or fatal.

  • African Drift Series does not guarantee medical coverage on-site.

  • Participants consent to receive emergency medical treatment if required and accept full financial responsibility for any medical services rendered.

RULES, DISQUALIFICATION & CONDUCT

  • Participants agree to follow all event rules, safety briefings, and instructions from officials.

  • African Drift Series reserves the right to deny participation or remove any individual for unsafe behavior, misconduct, or rule violations without refund.

PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE

Participants grant African Drift Series full rights to use any photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, or likeness taken during events for promotional, commercial, and media purposes without compensation.

SEVERABILITY

If any portion of this waiver is found unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
