Drift Day Necessities
Essential Items for Your Drift Day
Coming prepared to a drift day ensures you can focus on driving and handle any issues that arise. Here's what you need to bring:
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Jack – Essential for lifting your car to change wheels or inspect underneath
- Jack stands – Never work under a car supported only by a jack; always use stands for safety
- Wheel/lug wrench – For removing and tightening wheels
- Personal tools – Bring your own socket set, wrenches, screwdrivers, and any specialty tools for your vehicle
Fluids & Consumables
- Engine oil – Top-ups or full changes may be needed during intensive sessions
- Coolant – Keep your engine temperature in check throughout the day
- Brake fluid – High-performance driving can demand fresh fluid
- Tire pressure gauge & pump – Adjust pressures between sessions for optimal grip
Safety & Comfort
- Helmet – Required for all drivers (check our safety requirements page)
- Gloves – Improve grip and protect your hands
- Water & snacks – Stay hydrated and energized throughout the day
- Sunscreen & hat – Protect yourself during outdoor sessions
Spares & Extras
- Spare wheels/tires – Drift days are hard on tires; bring backups
- Duct tape & zip ties – Quick fixes for minor issues
- Rags & cleaning supplies – Keep your workspace and car clean
